My story

Hi, I`m Vesuvius! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds.I am currently in a Foster-to-Adopt stay! Please contact Canine program staff if you would like to learn more about me!I`m eligible for Greenhill`s Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Please bring any similarly sized dogs to meet me!Cats? With slow intros and close supervision I might do well living with a feline friend.Kids? I would do best in a home with calmer, older kiddos (12+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Vesuvius? I am very under-socialized and the world is a scary place for me. I am looking for someone with patience and understanding to help with my training and show me the world isn`t all that scary after all!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me!
