My story

Check out this adorable video of me on TikTok! Click here to experience the cuteness! Meet Greenie, a sweet and social girl who's still searching for her perfect match. Greenie has an incredibly loving personality and makes fast friends with everyone she meets-people are truly her favorite! Whether it's a smile, a tail wag, or a gentle nuzzle, she has a special way of making you feel like the most important person in the world. While Greenie shines in social settings, she's currently struggling with separation anxiety when left alone. She's looking for a compassionate and experienced adopter who understands this behavior and is ready to support her through a consistent routine, training, and lots of patience and love. With the right guidance, Greenie has the potential to thrive. She's done well meeting other dogs on leash and may be a good fit for a home with a friendly canine companion. However, Greenie cannot live with cats, so a feline-free household is a must.If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend and are ready to help Greenie feel safe and secure, she just might be the dog for you. Let's help Greenie find the home-and the heart-she's been waiting for. 🐾💚My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Oh my gosh did we have such a great rainy day with Greenie! She is a total love bug, easy to walk on the leash, gentle taking treats, doesn't pull towards other dogs. She also can sit on command and is very responsive to her name. All greenie wants is to be loved and to play. We started off the day with this wiggly tail girl by going on a walk and into a cafe. She was excited to be with us but was not hard to manage on the leash at all. In the cafe she sat with us and asked for pets by leaning her entire body weight into us. It was so endearing. She takes treats with a soft mouth and then politely chews it all up! Then we headed out for a longer walk and even with mild rain, she was totally up to go wherever we were. She was prancing around in the rain no problem. We went into a pet store where she chose 2 toys and a bone and then we headed to an enclosed basketball court to play with the toys. She had soooo much fun fetching and it was so joyful and precious to watch. After that we walked around some more and then came back to the cafe where she politely watched us enjoy or teas and food. She laid down next to us for part of our time there and chewed on her new toy. Greenie is totally ready to go home to a loving home she is a flawless, perfect wonderful girl that is going to make any home happy. We are in love with her and are enthusiastic to find a home for her. She is the BEST!!! Primary Color: Tan Weight: 48 Age: 5yrs 10mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Greenie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
