My story

Poppy is a sweet 4-month-old kitten who is looking for her forever home! This beautiful girl is a playful and energetic kitten who likes to play, explore, and spend time with her people. We often find her sitting by a window or at the front door watching the world go by. Poppy is a happy and social little girl who always greets us first after naps, as well as in the morning. She likes to help around the house, is nearby when we work, and loves to sit with us when we relax. Poppy enjoys playing with her littermates and our resident pets. She is a busy gal who always has time to play and explore the house. She also enjoys resting by a window and napping with our young daughter. This sweetheart lives in a busy house! In addition to her three littermates, this pretty girl lives with two adults, two children (a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl), three resident cats (one male and two females), AND a 75-lb. male dog! Poppy gets along great with the kids and often naps with our daughter. She does well with the resident cats and likes to play with the dog, too. Poppy would thrive in a home that offers toys and structures such as a cat tree to satisfy her love for playtime and exploration. This sweetheart would also like a nice window perch to watch the world go by, along with people who are around a lot to receive her greetings of sweet purrs after waking from a nap or in the morning. Poppy will need to go home with another Pet Haven kitten (perhaps her littermate Olive?), or to a home with another active young resident cat to show her the ropes. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
