My story

Sweden is a tall, slender dog with an interesting mix of Akita and German Shepherd features. About 3 years old, Sweden is well passed his puppy excitement and has reached his full size so what you see is what you’ll get.Sweden is quiet in his kennel and a little bit shy. He warmed right up to me after I fed him several milk bones and he graciously graciously allowed me to slip the leash over his head so we could go for a walk.Once outside, Sweden unleashed his inner joy! We took a walk through the tall trees bordering the parking lot and he enjoyed sniffing the grass. I think he even enjoyed getting his feet wet because the grass was still wet with morning dew.We took the long way around the grounds and Sweden was easy on the leash no pul pulling, no darting, no jumping.And he never barked, not even once.He has a beautiful brindle coat, and an overall handsome, pleasant demeanor.Sweden has also participated in public playgroup and has done very well with the other dogs.If you’re looking for a dog who has a unique charm that sets him apart from most other dogs, then Sweden might be the dog for you.And the best news is he’s available to all the adopters!Prince George’s County Animal Services Division3750 Brown Station RoadUpper Marlboro MD301-780-7200
