My story

Nola is a sweet 2-year-old shepherd mix (about 40 lbs spayed female).  She is a people lover. She loves getting her ears scratched or snuggling against you on the couch.  She walks like a dream on a loose leash and only gets excited when she sees bunnies or another dog.  But she can be quickly distracted and will continue on her way.  A gentle 1-2 miles is enough to satisfy her energy needs.  She is a talker and greets you with love upon your return.  She does well in the crate at night and when you leave the house.  She loves being within a few feet of her people and going where you go.  She rides well in the car.    She would do best in an only-dog home or possibly a home where the other dog is lower energy because Nola does not like to share toys or food and has shown a reaction to high-energy dogs. Put in an application at eapl.com Her adoption fee is $375 June 28, 2025, 6:57 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nola, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
