Winston is a gentle, shy soul with the softest eyes and the sweetest heart. At 2½ years old, he’s still learning the ropes of the world outside of a puppy mill—but what he lacks in confidence, he makes up for in pure affection. He absolutely loves to cuddle, especially with his foster brothers, and can often be found snuggled up with them on the couch or stretched out in a sunny spot. He’s a big fan of naps, windows, and standing guard over the neighborhood from his favorite lookout spot (with his backup snuggle squad, of course).  Winston will do best with another dog present to learn from and to play with. Winston is working hard on potty training in his foster home and making great progress!  He has learned to go both #1 & #2 outside and is using potty pads inside if he can't hold it. He will need a patient home that’s ready to help him continue this great progress at his own pace. He’s shy at first, but very curious and eager to be loved. Once he trusts you, he’ll be your loyal shadow. If you’re looking for a quiet, cuddly, and gentle companion who’s still blossoming into his best self, Winston just might be your guy.
