Diamond

My story

Like many dogs who come to the shelter, Diamond has a sad story - her owner moved and left her behind. We cannot figure out why because she is such a sweet and beautiful girl. Diamond was so terribly scared upon arrival that she would try to "melt" into the back corner of her kennel, attempting to become invisible. With love and patience, she is building confidence - walking on her own and actually getting the zoomies, which is so entertaining to watch. The sadness in her eyes is being replaced with joy and it warms our hearts! She hasn't shown much interest in toys or other dogs, but that may come in time. Two of her favorite things are back scratches and cheese. Who doesn't love cheese?! Ready for a precious gem who has four legs? Diamond could be the girl for you!
