My story

Aperol is a quiet, sensitive soul looking for a calm and patient home where he can truly feel safe. He’s a handsome boy who’s had a rough start and is still learning that the world can be kind. In the shelter environment, the noise and chaos have been overwhelming for him — he can be very timid in his kennel and is scared by the loud barking around him. It took some gentle coaxing to help him come out, but once he did, he began to slowly open up.Aperol would thrive in a quiet home with adults or older children who understand shy dogs. He would do best with gentle guidance, consistent routines, and possibly a calm dog companion to help build his confidence. A family that’s willing to move at his pace will be rewarded with the loyalty and love only a shy dog can give.Aperol is ready for his second chance — he may be timid now, but with the right person, he’ll blossom into the brave, loving dog he was always meant to be.
