Hello I'm Tess, a middle-aged Shar-Pei with a story to tell. My journey began with an unkind backyard breeder, leaving me quite frightened and with some challenging skin issues, and I even arrived pregnant. It was a dark time, but I'm so incredibly grateful for the loving hands that pulled me into the light. Today, I'm a different dog. My skin is healing beautifully, and my once-shaky confidence is now blossoming. I'm discovering the joy of being truly cared for, and it's made me incredibly sweet and gentle. I'm not a fan of chaos; I much prefer a calm, predictable environment. I would absolutely adore a home with older individuals who appreciate a tranquil lifestyle and can offer me the quiet, easy retirement I dream of.
