My story

Meet Aspen! Say hello to Aspen — a 3-month-old, 14-pound bundle of personality and puppy charm! This terrier mix (maybe with a bit of hound in there?) is one of the smallest pups from her big family. She was found alongside her mom and 13 siblings, and we expect she’ll grow to be around 40–50 pounds when fully grown.Don’t be fooled by her petite size — Aspen has a huge personality! She confidently struts around like she owns the place, claiming every toy and blanket as her personal playground or nap zone.Playful, spirited, and full of sass, Aspen will keep you laughing all day long. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and is surprisingly respectful of the senior pups in her foster home. She’s good with cats too — though she’s still learning that her feline foster sibling doesn’t always want to play and is secretly the boss of the house. Aspen also loves people of all ages and would thrive in just about any home.She’s still working on potty training (she’s a puppy, after all!) but she’s smart and eager to learn. She’s doing wonderfully with crate training — sleeping soundly through the night snuggled up with her sister and even putting herself down for naps in her crate like a pro!If you’re looking to add some spice, snuggles, and nonstop entertainment to your life, Aspen is your girl! If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
