My story

Meet Aspen!This silly sweetheart is about 8 weeks old and 6 pounds—one of the smaller pups in her litter of 13, but don’t tell her that! Aspen is a terrier mystery mix and we estimate she’ll be around 45–50 pounds full grown.Aspen has a big personality packed into a tiny body. She struts around like she’s in charge and has claimed any robe on the floor as her personal napping nest. Playful, spunky, and full of sass, Aspen will keep you smiling and laughing all day long.She’s ready to find a foster or forever home where she can be the adorable little boss she was born to be!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
