For the first six years of her life, she lived in a puppy mill, where she knew little more than confinement and neglect. In her left ear, she has a tatoo to identify her; 48.  She was used to breed puppies over and over. But everything began to change when a kind, elderly woman adopted her and gave her the first real taste of love and comfort. For two beautiful years, Molly learned what it meant to be part of a home—snuggles on the couch, gentle words, and a warm bed to call her own. She even had a doggy sister!Sadly, her adopter has recently become too ill to care for her, and Molly is now looking for a new furever home where she can continue to be loved. Molly is a quiet, gentle girl with a sweet soul. She is not a walker and prefers to be home. She relishes in the kind of companionship that comes from just being near someone who cares. She may be a bit shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’ll be your shadow and your snuggle buddy. She does best in a calm, stable environment and would thrive with someone patient and understanding—perhaps a retired person or couple who can offer her the same love and gentleness she gives so freely. She gets along well with other calm dogs and could live with older, respectful children. Molly is fully house-trained, up to date on her vet care, and spayed. After everything she’s been through, Molly deserves a peaceful, loving home where she can enjoy the rest of her life with love and affection.
