My story

Hi, I’m Charlie. My foster family tells me I am very smart and have lots of energy and personality. I am very quiet, but I let them know when I need to go out. In the short time I have been with them, I have learned to play fetch with my favorite frisbee and tennis balls. I am very inquisitive and always looking for the next thing to grab my attention. I am working on knowing which toys I can play with and would appreciate your patience while I learn. I love to be near my humans and would do best in a household where one works from home and is able to spend time with me, take me for walks and play with me. I am potty-trained, I can walk on a leash, and I’m always ready to greet both humans and fellow dogs on my walks twice a day. I am well-behaved in cars going to my next adventure. While I can tolerate grooming/brushing, I can be impatient to look for something fun to do. I am a free range eater but I had a feeding schedule in my previous home. I am crate trained for sleeping and when my humans leave the house. I am looking for the right family to match my high energy and friendly nature.
