My story

*This dog is scheduled to arrive in Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, June 28*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Meet Dina, the sweetest girl youll ever meet. She is ready to find a family to love. She eagerly goes for walks on a leash, loves to snuggle her human, and is perfectly backyard potty trained. Dina is gentle and kind to other dogs and kids. She loves getting treats and practicing commands like Sit and Down. She enthusiastically greets her foster family with tail wags and smiles when they get home, her heart overflows with love to give.At home, she is happy just sitting at your feet or in the same room to let you know shes there are ready for anything. Her size is perfect at 15 pounds, not too fragile but easy to lift. She can easily hop up and down on things and did great at her first bath. She is really a terrific temperament. Great for an owner of any age.Name: DinaBreed: Terrier mix Age: ~1 year or older Weight: ~15lbSex: Female, spayed Colour: BlackMedical: No concerns Good with men: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with women: Yes, friendly and outgoingGood with kids 0-6: Yes, but has not lived with small childrenGood with kids 7-15: Yes, but has not lived with childrenWhen the dog meets new people, she: Approaches happily/outgoing, Wants affection, Happy tail wagGood with dogs: Yes, happy to co-exist with other dogsHow does this dog react to meeting new dogs? Neutral - will say hello nicelyWhat type(s) of dogs does this dog prefer/be best with? Dogs that arent too pushy, hyper or in her face. She is very low key and patient on our home with our three small dogs. 2 are very elderly and she is very gentle and respectful of their space. Our Chihuahua has tried to bully Dina and she just takes it in stride.Good with Cats: Unknown, not testedCrate training: Doing well House training: Perfectly house trainedResource Guarding: None seenWalks on a leash: Walks wellEnergy level: Medium Areas to work on: No notable issuesWhat type of environments would NOT be suitable for the dog? None, this dog would be fine in any environmentAny noted separation anxiety? No, but she will grow attached to her new owner quickly.Barker: Average What would be the ideal home for this dog?Nice people and a yard. Shes super adaptable and chill, and might do best in a less active home. She goes potty in the yard but doesnt go on walks for some reason.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dina, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
