My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This companion animal is available through the CVRR 'Home to Home' program. All dogs or cats is this program are the property of the current owner/guardian. CVRR makes no guarantees regarding the health or temperament of said animal. All communication regarding this animal must be directed to the posted owner/guradian. CVRR receives no compensation for this listing.Cinnamon is a friendly, affectionate Aussie mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. She’s been a part of our family since she was a puppy, and while it breaks my heart to rehome her, I’m dealing with postpartum complications and an upcoming surgery. My husband is deployable, so I’ll be staying with family for support, and I’m no longer able to give her the time or care she deserves.Cinnamon is up to date on all her vaccinations and currently takes flea and tick preventative. She’s in great health with no known issues or special needs. She’s great with kids and does well with other dogs she’s met. Cinnamon is a very social dog and thrives in environments where she’s around people. She enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, and spending time outside. She is crate-trained, housebroken, and knows commands like sit, stay, lie down, and paw. She also waits for permission before eating and is learning to be more patient during transitions (like going into her crate). She may bark or whine a bit when crated but usually settles quickly with reassurance.Cinnamon does best in an active home that can match her energy. She would thrive with a family who enjoys outdoor activities or has kids who love to play. She’s a sweet, intelligent girl who learns quickly and loves being part of the pack. If interested in Cinnamon, please contact Autumn Setley at 224-808-1700 or autumnjones1901@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 27, 2025, 6:48 pm
