My story
Meet Maple! This gentle girl is quickly becoming one of the favorites among staff and volunteers for cuddle time. She leans her big head into your lap and looks at you with soulful eyes. Her story was not always happy as she was found emaciated, running loose in St. Ann with zero indication that she had a loving home looking for her. We heard about her and pulled her from the animal control in order to get her the soft landing she needed. Maple is still getting comfortable with other dogs so she would like to be the only dog in the home for now. We are unsure about Maple and cats but would be happy to provide guidance for a proper and slow introduction.
