My story

Hi! My name is Zoey and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 1 year old Saint Bernard mix who is eager for a new home! I came in from an overcrowded shelter in LA but before that I was living at a Texas shelter. Yes, Texas! Land of the rodeos, ranches, barbeques, and me! I've very quickly become a staff favorite with my sweet and affectionate personality. I'm house trained, know my name, know sit, and am eager to learn more! I may look a little funny now as I was shaved and only have a big ball of fur on the top of my head but don't worry, the rest of me will grow back soon. I'd love to be adopted into a home that will take me on lots of walks and adventures and can continue to work on basic training. After all, you can take the girl outta Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
