My story

Scooby's perfect day is one spent with his humans. He wants to be included in everything they do - all day, every day. This affectionate boy will want to be as close as possible to you, leaning on you or rolling over on his back so you can scratch his tummy. And he loves to be cuddled and petted all the time. He's an active, energetic boy who also loves being outdoors and going on walks. He wants to please his partner and is learning about leash manners, but he can still be a puller, so he does best in a harness. In his foster home, he's getting along great with his big German Shepherd housemate and with two smaller pups, although with his excitable energy he can be a little rough with them. He's met their barn cat, but it stands up for itself, so he's afraid of it and has no aggression at all. And he absolutely loves his foster's 15-year-old daughter. This outgoing boy wants to please his people, and he's a smart boy who learns quickly. He now answers to "sit" and is working on "stay." He's also making progress on his house-training, learning to go outside. And he is doing well on his crate training, behaving nicely when his fosters are away. Scooby hopes for a home with a large, fenced-in yard and parents who are home a lot and can continue his training and take him on adventures. He'd also love a medium to large dog buddy and probably kids at least 8 years old since with his energy he may hurt very small dogs and knock down younger kids. Come meet this lovable boy!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snack Mix, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
