My story

Opal is not just any dog; she is a symbol of resilience and joy. Rescued from a hoarding case where she lived with 26 other dogs, Opal's story is one that tugs at your heartstrings. You can see more about the situation she came from here: https://www.facebook.com/forpetssakerescue/posts/593288159729729 Opal suffered from an untreated eye infection for months. She has been treated however she does have cosmetic damages to her eyes. This poses no issue medically and Opal has great eye sight. Opal was found in a challenging environment, surrounded by many other dogs, which often led to overcrowding and limited individual attention. Despite her tough beginnings, Opal has emerged as a vibrant and energetic dog. She embodies the spirit of resilience and demonstrates that love can flourish even in the most challenging circumstances. Opal thrives on movement and play. Whether it’s running in the yard, playing fetch, or simply jumping with excitement at the sound of a leash, Opal's zest for life is infectious. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Opal, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
