My story

Meet Robo, a gentle boy who loves belly rubs. Robo is a 47lb german shepherd mixed husky who is about 4 years old. What drew us to him when we adopted him from the shelter 3 years ago are his two different colored eyes. He was also extremely sweet and immediately laid on his back for belly rubs. Robo is a pretty low energy dog. He usually just lays down next to us most of the day. However, he does love playing with other dogs, no matter the size. He does not usually play with humans though as he seems scared to hurt anyone. He can get the zoomies before dinner but that is usually when he has the most energy. Robo is also a very quiet dog. The only time he can be a bit talkative is when heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s playing with other dogs or trying to protect his wiener dog sister. We do think he has a bit of separation anxiety but only when my husband and I leave the house at the same time. He tries to escape his crate when we are gone so we have been using a lock to keep him in the crate. However, he may do better if he is allowed to free roam while home alone. He has never been in a home with small children or cats but he does do well with my 10 year old sister. Robo is crate trained and house trained. He is very easy to train as he is treat motivated. He knows some commands already such as sit, down, paw, free, and go to bed. Robo is up to date on all his vaccines. He is also neutered and microchipped. Getting rid of him is a very difficult decision for my husband and I but unfortunately we had a job loss in the family. We are unable to afford him and he deserves all the love in the world. This sweet boy is deserving of a perfect furever home. He is sure to light up your day with his big smile. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re interested in Robo, apply to adopt him today! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Robo, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
