My story

Kydo and his 6 siblings were rescued on January 4 of this year when a brave soul crawled up under an abandoned house and brought the tiny two-week old babies to safety. Once in the home of the rescuer, these pups have been well cared for along with their Mother, Raina, who is also up for adoption.Mom appears to be a yellow lab mix who is extremely docile and well behaved. Raina weighs about 48 pounds. We do not know who daddy was but possibly a black lab as most of the pups are black and white, however, we do have one who is brindle and another one who has a brindle face and legs. :) Whatever the mix, they are very nice-looking kids!This litter of pups has been well socialized and are up to date on all vetting. Kydo will get his neuter, microchip and rabies shot in the next few weeks and at that point, all of his vetting will be done!This handsome boy currently weighs just under 40 pounds and we anticipate him to weigh around 50 pounds when he is full grown. Kydo has had all of his puppy shots, is on heartworm, flea and tick preventative and has been wormed. The next step in his vetting is his neuter, microchip and rabies shot which will happen in just a few more weeks.If you would like to meet or adopt Scout, please start with our Adoption Application.
