My story

Meet Avery – our 4-month-old Dutch Shepherd mix with the soul of an adventurer and the heart of a loyal best friend. Known affectionately as our "505 Especial," this beautiful brindle baby is as special as her nickname implies. Avery is wicked smart—she already knows “sit,” “touch,” and “come,” and she’s 90% potty trained. She’s crate trained, working on her leash skills, and currently loving her rides in a backpack for longer walks. She’s happiest outside, basking in the shade on hot days, watching birds, chasing flies, and rolling in the grass with joy. Avery is truly grateful for her second chance at life, and she’s ready to give her whole heart to the right person. Her loyalty runs deep, and she’s looking for someone who will match her devotion. Due to her puppy energy and teething stage, she would do best in a home without small children—but with consistency and love, she’s going to grow into the most amazing lifelong companion.
