My story

(DOB 12/30/2021) Meet Laurel. She is heartworm positive, but don't let that stop you from adopting her. Our rescue will pay for her treatment. Also, she will need to be adopted within a 1 hour radius of Wake Forest, NC so she can receive her treatments. Looking for a four-legged friend who’s full of love, joy, and just the right amount of goofy energy? Say hello to Laurel! This happy-go-lucky girl is all about people, pets, and playtime. If you're looking for a pup who will shower you with kisses (and maybe a gentle nibble when she’s extra excited), Laurel’s your girl! Want a road trip fanatic then look no further. Front seat, back seat heck it doesn't matter to Laurel as long as you bring her with you. She's a great companion. Get to your destination, she'll hop out and walk nicely on a leash. Meeting people, no problem this girl loves everyone! Again, the only thing you need to worry about are those adorable kisses she is ready to share. She'll brighten anyone's grey day and turn it into sunshine! Laurel’s love is BIG – like, bounce-around-the-room big – so she’d do best in a home with older kids who can handle her enthusiastic affection. She's a social butterfly with dogs too and would absolutely love a furry sibling to play and cuddle with – though she’s just fine soaking up the spotlight on her own. But if you asked her, she'd probably tell you a furry, fun friend would be ideal. Apartment life? No problem! Laurel doesn’t need a fenced yard – just daily walks, play sessions, and a human who’s ready to give her lots of love and attention. She loves doggie daycare and play time with her pals so if you have a busy schedule, she'd be happy hanging with other pups and being their bestest buddy! She is already house trained and ok in her crate...she has a little un-love of it maybe a tiny bit on anxiety but working on it. Guess she just wants to be out and with her people...she loves her people! This sweet, wiggly girl is ready to make your heart her forever home. Come meet Laurel – she’s got kisses waiting just for you! As part of Laurel’s $300 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Laurel, you can complete an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2427517##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Laurel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
