What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.Arcene tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.A volunteer writes: Arcene was found wandering by herself in a building hallway. A Good Samaritan dutifully knocked on doors and asked around, but no one claimed Arcene. She was brought to us where she's now waiting for a forever family to claim her, but she seems more excited at the prospect now. Truthfully Arcene came to us quite stressed about the whole thing, but has done quite a turnaround in her efforts to snuggle herself into the Care Center. Brilliantly doing her very best to make a good impression, Arcene seems to be forever on an adorable mission to lean her cheeks into my hand. Beginning by softly tucking her head and becoming more insistent by using her face to follow my every move, Arcene is here for this second chance and she's ready to meet you. Primary Color: Gray Weight: 7.22 Age: 1yrs 7mths 0wks
