My story

🐾 Meet Wiley: Your Future Best Friend 🐾 Written from Wiley’s perspective… because who knows me better than me? Hi there, I’m Wiley Coyote — I'm up for adoption in Texas and New England. I'm a 2-3 year old fluffy yellow boy, weighing in at a handsome 65 pounds of love, loyalty, and just the right amount of goofy. I may not be a fan of the actual water, but I do love long walks on the beach. The breeze, the smells, the birds to watch — it’s all my kind of paradise. Just keep the waves to yourself, thank you very much. I’m a gentle soul with a big heart. I absolutely love meeting new people and other dogs (especially my foster sister — we play all day!), but I can be a little shy when things are unfamiliar. Give me a little time and some belly rubs, though, and I’ll be your snuggle buddy for life. Speaking of belly rubs... I have a signature move. When you walk by, I’ll lift my paw as a gentle nudge — “Hey, could you rub this fluffy belly real quick?” And if you pet me, I’ll melt into you. But if you stop, I’ll kindly put my paw on you again to remind you what’s important in life (me). Still not petting? No worries, I’ll just scoot a few feet away and chill. I’m not clingy, but I’m always nearby — your quiet shadow with a wagging tail. I’m crate trained, housebroken, microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated. When Lucky Lab saved me I was kind of scroungy looking, like a coyote, but I've blossomed into well, if I do have to say so myself, quite a beauty!
