My story

Meow there, I’m Salem—a dashing house panther with velvety black fur and eyes full of mystery and charm. I might seem a little shy at first, but once I know you`re kind, I’ll gladly soak up the love (and maybe even let you scoop me up!). I came to the shelter when my human had to move, but they said I’m funny, sweet, and super loving with my people. I’m more of a `do my own thing` kind of guy, but when the pets come, I won’t say no! I’d love a calm home where I can be the star of the show—no other furry roommates, please. Let’s conjure up a new beginning together—just you, me, and a touch of Salem sparkle. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet Salem with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in.
