My story

I'm looking for my best bud for life! Is that you? My name is Allie! I’m a lovely lady and I have a kind face that will melt your heart! My caregivers do not know much about my past, because I was found wandering on my own. I’m ready for endless adventures, playtime, and naps in my very own bed. Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself first! I am polite and potty trained - I will even let you know when I need to go. I am nervous in a new home, but I settle down nicely and enjoy laying in a nice bed. I'm not really sure how I feel about other dogs. When I see them on walks, I freeze up and get very nervous. If you have another dog, I would need to meet them first. My foster's favorite thing about me is that I snore in my sleep! Do I sound like your new best friend? Come to High Country Humane to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
