My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Peanut was an owner surrender to the Mower County Humane Society on 3/29/22.  She was surrendered because of her extreme shyness to people.  She was living in a home with other cats and she did fine with them.  Peanut was adopted once from MCHS and brought back because of box issues.  We have not seen those issues here.   Peanut has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is spayed and is current on shots.  She will be adopted as a strictly indoor only cat.  We are looking for a home with patience, persistence and lots of love--preferably someone who has owned a shy cat and who has an easy-going, calm life.  Adoption fee is $80.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Peanut or any of our other cats, go be mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 26, 2025, 7:56 pm
