My story
Ajax is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s just beginning to discover what kindness feels like. He’s one of 200 dogs recently rescued from commercial breeders in the Midwest. This adorable boy has never known love or compassion, and he isn’t quite sure how to handle it all. Ajax needs a special person to help him learn how to trust—and to show him that people aren’t as scary as they might seem. A calm, adult-only home would be best for him to settle in, and a securely fenced yard is a must, as he is a flight risk. He’s already starting to show improvement with ARF staff, and we believe he’ll bond with his person and let his true personality shine in time. Ajax needs a hero to show him what true love feels like… could that be you?
