My story

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Meet Fred – The Goofy Gentleman with a Heart of Gold! 🐾 At 4 years old and weighing 50 pounds, Fred is a sweet, happy pup who’s always smiling — even when he’s upside down! With his silly antics and joyful personality, he’s sure to keep you laughing and smiling right along with him. Fred was Heartworm positive but has undergone treated for them and is now ready to focus on living his best life. He’s house trained, great with people, and loves to play with other dogs. He currently gets along well with his foster sibling, Jet, who’s more on the submissive side. Because Fred does like to be the top dog, he may do best with female dogs or laid-back males. Fred hasn’t met cats or kids just yet, but based on his sweet nature, we think he’d likely do well with both — especially with the proper introductions and supervision. Whether he’s flopped over in goofy positions, prancing around the yard, or just soaking up your attention, Fred’s zest for life is contagious. He’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate — ready to bring joy, laughs, and unconditional love to his forever home. Ready to meet your forever bestie? Apply today to make Fred yours at haydudeequine.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Fred, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
