My story

Learn more hereDon’t let the mighty name fool you, Thor is a gentle, soulful sweetheart in a 53-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix body. At just 1 year old, this tender-hearted boy is slowly discovering the world is a kind place, and he’s doing so with quiet courage and the softest eyes. Thor came from a home with lots of dogs, so he’s still getting used to new environments and one-on-one attention. Though initially timid, with a little patience and a gentle approach, Thor warms up beautifully. He’s a fan of leaning in for pets, laying by your side, and even wagging his tail when he spots another friendly pup. He’s a low-energy companion who enjoys calm walks, soft voices, and peaceful hangouts. Thor would thrive with a mellow dog friend or as a solo pup with a patient, loving human to help him build confidence. Thor is ready to leave behind his shy beginnings and step into the calm, loving life he deserves. He just landed in a foster home and we can’t wait to find out more!
