Please don’t be offended if I don’t come up to say hello. I’ve been through so much change and it’s a lot to take in. With as much as my life keeps changing, it’s hard for me to immediately trust people until I know they’re going to stick around for a bit.My best friend, Dinky, and I came from another shelter. When we got to Wayside, the staff noticed that we were both very fearful and spent a lot of time huddling together. We promised to stick together and keep one another safe, no matter what else happens in life. Now, we look out for one another.Fortunately for us, a lovely volunteer fell in love and brought us to foster. With her loving and patient care, we started to come out of our shells and blossom. She started to see our individual personalities shine and we learned that the world isn’t such a scary thing.According to foster mom, I needed lots of space to hide and feel comfortable at first, or even now if things are loud. I am a goofy kitty who is very playful and talkative! I’m not a big fan of pets, but if you go slow, I may let you scratch my head a bit. My favorite part about foster is the heating pad that we have! I could nap on that all day long.Now that we’ve had time to settle in, we’re ready to find our fur-ever family! Wherever we end up, I know we’ll be okay, as long as Dinky and I are together. Are you ready for double the love with us?
