If you’re searching for an intelligent, active, and affectionate dog, then I’m the perfect match for you!Life hasn`t always been easy for me. I got my name because someone found me tied to the fence post on their property. Even though this was a scary time for me, they still described me as a friendly boy. Because of this, I can sometimes be a little nervous around leashes, but I am working on my confidence everyday.I absolutely adore being near people. There’s nothing better than sharing moments of affection and companionship with my favorite humans. Whether we’re playing together, enjoying a walk, or just relaxing, I love being close to the people I care about. The people here at Wayside have taught me so much about love and trust and being around my 2 legged friends brings me so much joy!I also love playing with toys and keeping myself mentally stimulated. Whether it’s chasing a ball, tugging on a rope, or squeaking a plush toy, I find endless joy in playtime. Toys not only keep me entertained but also help me stay active and happy. I also love training sessions. I am highly treat motivated and love positive reinforcement. I have already mastered ‘sit’ and ‘down’. I love the enrichment that learning new things gives me. I thrive in environments where I can use my brain and stay engaged.I am also quite the active boy. I would recommend that I go home to an active home. I love to run around and burn lots of energy.
