My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bassoon! Bassoon and his siblings came to the rescue after being found alone outside at only 3 weeks old. They were skinny, covered in fleas and battling infections. Fortunately, they were found by a kind person who brought them to us. They are feeling much better now and are ready to meet their new families! Bassoon is a gentle and affectionate little guy. He loves to zoom around and climb on the cat furniture in his foster room. He loves people even more than he loves wrestling with his siblings! He will gladly to receive pets and attention whenever they are available. Bassoon hasn't met dogs yet but should adjust easily to them. He does well with children and other cats. He   is being fostered in Akron, OH. Harp was born around the end of April 2025. The adoption fee for a single kitten is $100 and a pair of kittens is $150. The adoption fee includes:  negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines (feline leukemia, FVRCP),  de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Depending on Bassoon's age at adoption, feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccine boosters may need to be continued with his adopters' vet, and he will need his rabies shot when he is 14-16 weeks old. Bassoon will be 8 weeks old in early July. He will be ready to go home with his new family around the weekend of July   11th, after his neuter surgery. Applicants are welcome to meet Bassoon and his siblings in their foster home now. We will collect a $50 deposit (deducted from his total fee) to hold him until adoption day. If you're the perfect family for Bassoon, please visit www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application. Click on our name "Rose's Rescue" in blue above to be taken directly to our website. Thank you for considering adoption - our adoptable cats can't wait to meet you!
