My story

Siena has been living in a foster home, but she will be at our shelter awaiting adoption starting Friday, 6/27. Siena comes to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control, where she was brought after being confiscated with her two siblings from a home that could no longer care for them. We took in all three dogs, and all are equally wonderful! Like many dogs that find themselves at CACC, Siena and her siblings were in a state of neglect and malnourishment. Shortly after arriving into our care, Siena came down with an upper respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia. We are so thankful that an amazing foster family stepped up to care for her the past few weeks, and see her through to being adoption-ready. Siena has been living with a family with two young children, who she loves. In fact, Siena loves everyone! She may have a tough "look," but she is a total love bug and cuddle-time queen. Siena is not reactive to dogs or people on walks, though she can pull at times like when she sees squirrels! Siena's foster mom writes, "Siena is a total love bug. She came to our house feeling not her best but very quickly recovered into an energetic, playful, and loving pup. She will be your shadow and loves to stay close by grabbing all the cuddles. She is incredibly quiet and rarely makes a peep. Our children adore her and will miss her immensely once she finds her forever home!" Please inquire about this deserving beauty today! Siena’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
