Breezy

My story

Meet our B puppies! These puppies did not have the greatest start to life, and arrived at Animal Friends after being rescued by our Humane Investigations team. When they arrived, they had several injuries that needed to be addressed, but with the help of our medical team, are now feeling and looking their best and ready for adoption! They have spent some time in foster care, and are very active and playful puppies who will need adopters who are able to give them lots of exercise and enrichment. These puppies are most likely Cane Corso mixes. This breed of dog grows to be very large, so adopters will need to be prepared for their puppy to do lots of growing! For this litter of puppies, we are also requiring that adopters have Cane Corso/large guardian breed experience, as this litter is not for first time dog owners, and will need adopters that understand this breed's unique needs. Breezy has been spending time in foster, learning manners from her canine foster brothers, and gentleness from her feline foster siblings. Breezy's fosters are using positive reinforcement in the home, teaching Breezy the ins-and-outs of basic obedience and socialization. Some of her favorite things to do include: taking up all the space in the bed, playing with her foster brothers, and always making sure she gets the last snack. Breezy is looking for a home that will be patient with her, and will continue to work with her using positive reinforcement. Breezy is able to live with humans friends age 6 and up, and could live with feline and/or canine companions, pending a successful meet-and-greet at the shelter. Animal Friends will be providing adopters with a certificate for our Kinder Puppy classes, to help get a jump start on training these incredibly smart young dogs!
