My story

Looking for a fun, energetic sidekick who gives the best hugs? Meet Jetson, a sweet, playful pup who’s ready to find his forever home! Jetson is a people-loving boy who lights up when he’s with his favorite humans. He loves attention, belly rubs, and outdoor adventures. Jetson recently enjoyed a day out hiking in the Wissahickon and proved to be a fantastic walking and running buddy. He’s always up for fresh air and fun, though he can be strong on leash and would do best with someone ready to help him with his leash manners. He already knows “sit” and is very eager to please, especially when treats are involved. Jetson is house-trained, friendly with other dogs, and has lived with both adults and children in the past. He’s happiest when he’s part of the action, whether it’s playing, exploring, or just soaking up love. Very strong will pull hard on leash when walking. He rarely ever has accidents in room. Very friendly 06/28/2025 volunteer notes: Jetson was higher energy and very excited to get out of his kennel. He pulled on the leash to go outside. He was so happy and sweet overall, and absolutely loved pets in the yard. Not super treat motivated, was interested in seeing other dogs through the fence and wagged, but did not do an official dog meet. He put on the brakes to get back in the kennel but went in with the handler climbing back inside. 06/28/2025 day trip notes: Jetson was a happy boy on his hike in the wissahickon. He definitely is connected to humans and seemed to care where we were. He knew sit, and even got his paws wet! He probably would be a great running buddy since he was able to keep up the whole time. He did pull, however it did improve as the hike went along. He’s a very sweet boy and likes belly rubs. Did his business outside. He was treat motivated.
