My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:The staff think I would do best in a home where there are no other cats or dogs.Magnus has made excellent improvement since his first assessment. He is curious, alert, and relaxed, and comes forward when approached. He enjoys all petting, leaning in nicely for cheek rubs, and when picked up, he was reasonably calm when held and remained so when set back down. He enjoyed treats and squeeze-up and is a sweet, loving cat.Magnus interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle, and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience A volunteer writes: Magnus could tell I was visiting with one of his neighbors and just started talking. Then he realized that he kind of had to wake up first. Yes, Magnus had been sleeping but just seemed to know something fun was going on and that he wanted to be a part of it. He yawned and stretched, mixing in some chirps to explain that he'd be ready in just a second. Though Magnus has a lot to say and even more to do, if you listen closely, he's really just trying to hand you his heart for safekeeping. Magnus is a playful and independent cat who enjoys making his own choices and I just really love that about him. When I gave Magnus the opportunity to select our activities, he chose leaning his whole little cat self into my arm and telling me about his day in minute detail. Magnus eats treats with a dramatic flair, paws flung in every direction to get the very last morsel and nuzzles like it's his job.
