My story

My name is Hong, and I may have had a rough start in life, but my heart is still full of love and hope. I once had a home, but I was sadly abandoned on the highway and ended up in a shelter where dogs aren’t always given a second chance. But I was lucky—and now I’m here, dreaming of the day I find a kind, loving family who will never let me go again. Even after everything, I still love people with all my heart. Being with humans is my favorite thing in the world. I get along just fine with other dogs—I’m a friendly, social girl—but honestly, I’d much rather be with you. Whether we’re cuddling, going for a walk, or just sitting side by side, your presence is all I need to feel safe and happy. Because of what I’ve been through, I might feel a little anxious when we’re apart at first. But with your patience, love, and gentle guidance, I know I can learn to trust that you’ll always come back to me. All I want now is a family that will truly love me—a place where I’ll never be left behind again. I promise that in return, I’ll give you all the love, loyalty, and joy I have in my heart.
