When she first arrived on transport, she was the most frightened pup in the group – unsure of her new surroundings and needing time to feel safe. But with patience and love from her foster family, Avery has started to blossom. One of her favorite discoveries? Cuddling in bed! Avery has become a total cuddle bug who loves gentle pets and quiet time snuggled up with her humans. She’s even cat-approved – she doesn’t mind feline friends sharing the bed with her. Avery is still a bit timid, especially around loud noises or fast movements. She’ll need a calm, patient family willing to move at her pace and let her build trust on her own terms. Due to her fear of young children, she’s best suited to a home with older, quieter kids who understand how to give her space and kindness. This sweet girl has so much love to give and is looking for a peaceful home where she can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe.If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion and have a gentle home to share, Avery could be the perfect match for you. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
