Female, 2 years old, 88 lbs, Shepherd Personality: Affectionate, goofy, loyal, outgoing, snuggler, playful, independent, and adaptable. Meet Lily! This beautiful girl is the perfect mix of sweet and silly. With a heart full of love and excellent manners, Lily is a true gem. She’s house trained and is trusted to be left home alone outside her crate. Lily is a calm, low-energy snugglebug who’s happiest lounging around after her morning walk and taking a few short strolls throughout the day. Although she can be a little cautious in new environments, Lily warms up quickly and becomes a loyal, affectionate companion. One of her favorite things is getting brushed - she loves it! She’s food-motivated and thrives with structure, happily following your daily routine. Lily gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with her foster brother. If you’re looking for a protective, goofy, snuggle buddy who’s always up for a cozy snuggle, Lily just might be the pup for you! Apply today to meet Lily! Lily was surrendered to CityDogs when her owner passed away. ___________________________________________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lily, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
