Meet Freckles — Your Go-To Goofy Guy! Freckles is a 50-pound, 1-year-old, German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a heart full of joy and legs made for running. This happy-go-lucky pup is the definition of fun—always ready to jump into playtime, chase a toy, or sprint across the yard with a huge smile on his face. He’s incredibly food motivated and already showing off how smart he is—he didn’t know any tricks when he arrived, but quickly learned how to sit like a pro. With treats and praise, he’ll be a fast learner in his forever home too! Freckles keeps a clean kennel, but he’d much rather be outside enjoying the yard or sticking by your side. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, always wagging and wiggling like the goofy, lovable boy he is. He’s working on putting on a few extra pounds and has a great appetite, so he’ll be at his ideal weight in no time. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and all-around great companion, Freckles is your guy! His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
