My story

Rory A17516135 lb. spayed female, approx 2 1/2 years old -Skinny, beautiful gal!-She is understandably very food driven. She “sits” and takes them ok. Needs some “easy” reminders.-Probably would do well with food puzzles and a slow feeder-Walk decent on a leash although she wants to stop and sniff everything along the way. She has a good sniffer!-Semi interested in toys-Loves to be in your lap for pets and cuddles-Gives kisses and is affectionate-Sweet girl who will need time to understand that she will be fed consistently-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
