My story

Meet Peaches, a friendly, affectionate 2-year-old pup who enjoys being around people—both adults and kids—and gets along well with other dogs. Peaches would be happiest in a home with another dog of her size (30 lbs.) and energy level to play with. She loves to run, wrestle, and engage in good old-fashioned dog fun. If she’s going to be the only dog, regular playdates or outings will be important to keep her socially and physically engaged. Although she’s playful and energetic, she settles down for a snuggle once she’s had some exercise. Peaches is still working on crate and house training, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can stick to a consistent routine and continue to guide her as she learns. She does fairly well on a leash, and regular walks, as well as play time, would be a great way to bond with her. She’s also food-motivated, so treats will serve as a great training aid. Peaches is healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She’s just missing one thing: a forever home. If you would like to share your life with this affectionate dog, email us for an application. (Please don’t use our online application; it needs revision and sometimes doesn’t get delivered to us). Adoption fee $300, which includes a collar, harness and 6-month supply of heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 25, 2025, 7:09 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Peaches, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
