My story

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.  FIV/Felv negative. Meet Gem  This handsome 8-year-old gentleman came to us from a local shelter that was simply overwhelmed with too many cats. Now he's safe with us and starting a brand-new chapter.  Gem is calm, sweet, and understandably a little nervous as he adjusts to new surroundings. He’s the strong and silent type—quietly taking it all in with soulful eyes and a gentle spirit. We’re still getting to know him, but one thing is clear: this boy has a heart full of love to give. If you’re looking for a mellow companion to share your space and your heart, Gem just might be the treasure you’ve been waiting for. *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.June 26, 2025, 8:40 pm
