My story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner on June 24, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Canelo! This handsome guy is on the lookout for a new place to relax and learn what it means to be part of a family. Canelo has spent most of his life outdoors, so indoor living is all new to him-he's not yet house trained and could use some help with his leash skills. He hasn't had experience with other dogs or cats, and he does show some resource guarding, so a family familiar with managing that would be the best fit. A patient, experienced home that can offer him structure, kindness, and time to adjust would help him thrive. We're still learning more about him each day-but if you're ready to help Canelo start his next chapter, bring a leash, collar, and lots of love!
