My story

Hey there, I’m Balto — a 10-year-old husky, part-time pirate (yep, just the one eye), and full-time heartthrob. I spent my life chained up behind a trailer next to my buddy Echo, dreaming of freedom, snacks, and a better hair care routine. I may be a little on the skinny side right now, but don’t worry — I’ve got plenty of fluff and spirit. I’m not as bonkers as a young husky (you’re welcome), but I’ve still got pep in my step and a soft spot for adventure. I get along with other dogs if we’re introduced properly — but cats? Let’s just say... hard pass. I’m ready for a warm bed, a full bowl, and someone to remind me I’m finally safe.
