My story

Meet Scout! This sweetie pie was found all by herself in a rural area. We're not sure what happened to her or why she was left all by herself but she is safe now and doing well in her foster home.  Scout is a mixed breed beauty. We are unsure of her exact breed mix but she has some shepherd coloring. She is around 5 months old and around 23 lbs.  Scout is a sweet girl. She can be timid in new situations but warms up quickly and she is friendly with all people. She is great with other dogs and will likely be happiest with another dog in the home. Scout is learning all the basics of dogs walking and some commands and is a smart girl who learns quickly.  Scout does have a little separation anxiety. Now that she is in a safe place where she feels loved, she is reluctant to be without her humans. She will cry when left alone for too long. We are working on kennel training her and are helping her to learn that she will be ok if she is alone for a short time.  Scout is a gorgeous girl who will make a great family dog.  Scout will be vaccinated and microchipped. She will be spayed between 8-12 months of age, at our cost. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
