My story

***Curtis is currently located at our rescue in GeorgiaWith an approved application, he can be transported to New Jersey and be available at our adoption event at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes. Questions about Curtis and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue.*** Curtis was found as a stray one morning by our veterinarian, Dr. Amanda Potts. He was a frail, puny looking little pup who was very hungry and in need of some kindness. Dr. Potts took Curtis to her practice, checked him out throughly and found him to be in pretty good condition despite having been homeless. Dr. Potts also administered at the first round of his required vaccinations and de-wormings. Once he came to our rescue, we continued administering the remainder of his vaccinations and such. Curtis is a very well-socialized, vibrant and playful pup. He loves interaction with people and does well with other pups, but can be a bit overbearing when playing with them. We've been working on his crate training and he's done well so far, but he will need additional work in the areas of house and leash training. He will do best in a home that permits ample space for his to run and play.  Curtis has already received 2 of 3 of his first year "puppy" vaccinations and his scheduled de-wormings. He's also been started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
