Persephone

My story

Persephone (or Effie, as her foster mom endearingly calls her) is a very brave and cuddly girl. She loves to come up and ask for pets once she is comfortable with her human, and she is also very playful! Effie loves toys and zoomies in the back yard, and is extremely dog friendly. Chase is her absolute favorite game with her canine foster siblings! Effie had a rough start to life and understandably takes a while to warm up to humans. She will thrive in a low-traffic, kid-free household with a confident dog friend to help her see that she is safe and loved. Her human should be patient and kind, willing to give Effie the time and space she needs to settle in. If you're a gentle soul looking for a gentle pup to call your own, Effie is your girl.
